Fundraising

Guilt and shame usually weigh heavy in an addict’s heart and conscience.  They are destructive.  Many times this load alone serves as a trigger for the addict.  It can affect those with an active addiction, those in the journey to recovery, and even those who have been sober for years.

Saying “I’m sorry” is sometimes not enough. It doesn’t right the wrong.  One way to work on righting the wrong is making amends.  Making amends is repairing or compensating for damage done.
